Manage Work Queue

Work Queue allow you to manage the default users to whom tasks are automatically assigned to when they enter a specific queue.

To access your Work Queue, click on Profile > Work Queue

To manage which users are assigned to which queue,

Step 1: Expand the dropdown view by clicking on the ‘+’ button next to your chosen practice.

Step 2: Further expand the table by clicking on the ‘>’ next to your chosen panel

Step 3a: Select the checkboxes for the rows you want to assign, or use the checkbox in the header row to select all.

Step 3b: If a double-arrow button appears, you can use it to change the assignment mode for how you want to manage assignments. This is only available for selected panels.

  • By default you will change the default to assignee based on the claim’s rendering provider

  • For some panels such as Claim Review you can change the default assignment based on the warning message categories

Step 4: Click the black icon to complete the assignment

Note: Once saved, the default assignee will be applied to future claims only and will not affect the assignee of any existing claims. To change the assignment of existing claims, you would need to manually assign the claims to that user. You can read How to assign claims for more details.
