Warning and Error Messages for ERA Exception

Cases in ERA Exception may display a Warning. Warning messages appear in a yellow banner at the top of the page.

Clearing a Warning Message

Step 1: Ensure the underlying issue has been resolved.

Step 2: If there is a checkbox on the warning banner, click the checkbox on the yellow Warning banner to acknowledge the fix. The banner will turn green. If not, ignore this step.

Step 3: Click Recheck to clear the warning.

Step 4: Click Submit.

Matching claim found. Please specify which payer this ERA belongs to and whether the payer is primary or secondary payer.

A matching claim has been found, but the system cannot determine which payer the ERA belongs to or whether the payer is the primary or secondary payer. This may occur if the payer is not yet set up in the system or if the payer order is unclear.

Cannot find a matching claim. Please match this ERA to a claim.

The system could not find a claim that matches this ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice).
