You can send a note to the Practice Portal to inform staff of important updates related to a specific patient. These notes are visible to staff viewing the patient in the Practice Portal.
Note: Patient Notes are intended for communication with the Practice Portal and should not be used for internal Fulcrum notes.
Step 1: Navigate to the claim detail page and click “Patient Notes” under the patient’s Billing Acct ID.
Step 2: Click on “Add New Notes”
Step 3: Enter the note you wish to send. You can also select the note status:
Pinned – The note will be highlighted in the Practice Portal, and users viewing the patient’s detail page will see a notification for this note.
Unpinned – The note will be visible in the Practice Portal but will not trigger a notification.
Step 4: Click Save.
Step 5: The note will now appear in the Practice Portal.
